A wooden bed without a headboard is about as calm and uncluttered as a bedroom gets. Clean lines, real oak or walnut, and nothing between the bed and the wall. Lift the base and there's deep storage underneath for everything you'd rather not see.

Each bed is real oak or walnut veneer bonded to a stable core. You see and touch genuine wood grain, the panels stay flat and true, and each bed uses a fraction of the timber a solid frame would. Paint a block of colour on the wall behind the bed, add timber panelling or a run of picture ledges, or hang a large piece of art. Wall lights either side free up your bedside tables. Push the bed against the wall and your pillows stay put.
We measure storage depth as usable space: from the floor of the base to the top of the slats. The whole area under the mattress opens in one go, with no drawers to pull out and no gap to leave around the bed. At 40cm, a cabin suitcase lies flat inside with room to spare.
The base lifts on gas struts matched to the weight of your mattress, so it opens easily and closes gently. Choose opening from the end or the side, depending on where the bed sits in the room. For larger sizes or heavier mattresses, an electric lift opens the base at the touch of a button.
