Mattress choices: DELUXE (AT35), pocket hybrid, memory foam and Reflex firm, depending on model. All handmade to order in Nottingham and delivered in sections.
Ours run from 145cm to 177cm. Most are 160–172cm. The narrowest is the Metro with its slimmest arms, at 145cm. Every model has a choice of arms, so the exact width depends on the arms you pick.
It's a small double. The mattress is 115cm wide on most of our models and 120cm on the Paris and Mellow, against 135cm for a standard double. If you want a full double, go up to a 3 seater sofa bed, which takes a 140cm mattress.
One adult sleeps on it properly, two at a squeeze. It's 200cm long on every model except the Mellow (190cm), so taller guests fit. For two people every night, a 3 seater gives you a full double.
The smallest 2 seater is the Metro at 145cm wide, with a small double inside. Smaller still, the Metro love seat is 122cm wide with a single bed. See our single sofa beds.
Cambio, Metro, Tokyo, Cocoon and Classic all take an 18cm mattress, with a choice of four: DELUXE, pocket hybrid, memory foam and Reflex firm. The Mellow is 15cm and the Paris 12cm.
Yes. On five of the seven models it's the same 18cm mattress we put in our larger sofa beds, just narrower, and you choose the feel: DELUXE, pocket hybrid, memory foam or Reflex firm.
For the tightest spaces, the Metro, at 145cm with slim arms. For the best value with an 18cm mattress, the Cambio. Measure the room with the bed open, not just the sofa: allow about 215cm of floor from the wall.
Almost certainly. Every Furl sofa bed is delivered in sections, so it goes through narrow doorways, hallways and up stairs, then our team assembles it in the room.
Nothing. Bed settee is the older British name for the same thing: a sofa with a bed inside. A 2 seater bed settee and a 2 seater sofa bed are the same size.
Yes. Sit on and sleep-test them in our London showrooms in Swiss Cottage and Chelsea, or order fabric samples to see colours at home.
