Guardsman fabric protection is a treatment we apply to the fabric of your sofa bed which repels and makes it easier to clean stains. It’s a water based process that is impossible to see or feel but it offers peace of mind knowing that your lovely sofa is protected.
Guardsman costs from £100 and along with the physical treatment of the sofa bed it also is an insurance policy in which, should something happen to your sofa bed that you can’t clean, the technicians at Guardsman will come and clean it off for you. In the unlikely event that they can’t, they will contact us for a replacement part. Guardsman protects your sofa physically and with an insurance backed guarantee for 5 years.
It's hard changing the mindset that our sofa beds are comfortable, because at some point, we've all had a terrible experience on one. When we started desgining sofa beds back in 2007, improving the the sleep experience was top of our list of priorities. We identified some of the biggest issues to quality sleep on a sofa bed, and one by one fixed them.
Mattress - they are too thin ( we fixed that )

We re-invented the sofa bed from a awful, uncomfortable product that no-one really wanted, into a luxury sofa that has an amazing bed, thats a win win!
This model has a 15cm all foam firm mattress that offers exceptional support, depending on the size of the sofa the bed sizes range from a single (chair) to a huge super king size bed.
Sleeping surface or deck - too low, and 'boney' you can feel the metal frame underneath. We fixed that too.
A common complaint and completely justified on most sofa beds. We addressed this with the mechanism, after all this is the foundation of a good sofa bed, we wanted a sofa bed to feel like a bed and thats not just the mattress, the experience of getting in an out of bed is just as important. So, we insist that all our sofa beds are at a normal bed height, that's especially nice if you're older, for no-one should have to get on their hands and knees to to to bed.
The other issue where you feel the structure of the frame under the mattress was fixed by re-engineering the fold, and moveing the essential parts that make it a sofa bed, to placed you're not going to feel them.

Final note: Unlike many 'so called' sofa beds, our sofa beds have a real mattress, not one that you sit on as a sofa, but a proper mattress as you would expect on a proper bed, because, at the end of the day, it is your bed, and you need to feel that.
