Storage arms

Where does the storage go?

In the arms. Swap a standard arm for a storage arm and the top lifts to reveal a hidden compartment for the duvet, pillows, sheets and throws. Have one, or both.

Most sofa beds with storage put a drawer under the seat, where the bed should be. Ours keep the full mechanism and a real mattress up to 18cm deep, and put the storage in the arms instead. You don't give up any comfort to get it.

The range

Which sofa beds have storage arms?

Almost all of them. Storage arms are available on Cambio, Duette, Metro, Tokyo, London, Paris, Piano, Mellow, Swan and Sunday. Every one is handmade to order in our Nottingham workshop, in sizes up to super king, and delivered and installed by our own team.

What can I keep in a storage arm?

The bedding for the sofa bed is the obvious one: duvet, pillows and a set of sheets, so they're right there when you open it up. Plenty of customers use them for throws, cushions and remotes too.

Does a storage arm make the sofa bed wider?

A little. Each model page gives the exact width for every size and arm, or call us and we'll check it against your room.

Can I add storage arms later?

Yes. Our sofa beds are modular, so the arms unclip and a storage arm can be swapped in within minutes. No dismantling, and no sending the sofa back.

Is the bed any less comfortable?

No. The storage is in the arms, not under the seat, so you get the same mechanism and the same real mattress, up to 18cm deep, as any other Furl sofa bed.

Which models don't have storage arms?
