Our latest electric-assisted ottoman bed is a game-changer. With a single touch, it lifts and closes — no heavy lifting, no awkward effort, just smooth, silent motion. And underneath? Up to 40cm of deep, easily accessible storage.

Storage Without Limits

The storage space inside this bed is generous — available in three depths, with our Max version offering a huge 40cm of usable space. That’s enough to hide away everything from spare duvets and pillows to full-sized suitcases.

Better still, you’re free to choose any mattress — even heavy, luxurious ones. The electric lift handles the weight for you.

Electric furniture often raises questions about safety. So we built protection in from the start. This bed includes advanced safety sensors, like those found in car windows, that detect resistance and stop the mechanism instantly.

It’s designed to work for everyone — including seniors, those with limited mobility, or wheelchair users — all with one simple button.

Designed and Built in the UK

As with all our furniture, this bed is handcrafted in our Nottingham workshop and installed by our in-house team. It’s already on display in our Swiss Cottage showroom, ready for you to experience in person.

How to Operate Your Bed

Using your electric ottoman bed is simple, safe, and completely hands-free once activated.

To open the bed: Gently pull the lifting strap upwards. As soon as the bed detects this motion, the mechanism will automatically activate and begin lifting. You can release the strap — the bed will do the rest.

To close the bed: Press the close button located at the foot end of the bed. A single press is all that’s needed — the bed will lower itself smoothly and safely.

If something gets in the way: Our advanced safety sensors will detect any obstruction and immediately stop the movement. The bed will then lift slightly to return to a safe position.

Once the obstruction has been cleared, simply press the close button again to restart the closing action.

It’s that easy — no heavy lifting, no complicated controls. Just intelligent, effortless storage at the touch of a button.

Closing the Gap Between Convenience and Capability

Most ottoman beds focus on making the lift easier. But at Furl, we realised the real problem often comes after — closing the bed again. Especially with premium mattresses, pushing the base back down can be just as hard.

So we solved it.

Our new design includes an intuitive one-touch close button, making it effortless to shut the bed — a first in ottoman bed design. That means whether you’re storing out-of-season clothes, bulky bedding or your everyday clutter, access is always easy and dignified.
