Ottoman Beds in Bespoke Sizes and Fabrics

Extra Wide Single, Long King, Short Queen, Tall Emperor, these are not funny profiles on social dating sites… they are requests from our customers for bespoke bed sizes!

Custom bed sizes are requested for all sorts of reasons, for instance, you have a wide room but it’s very thin, yet you really want a big bed.  Choosing a custom made short super king (or any other size) might work and give you the space you need in your room to move around the bed.  You may be very tall and find British standard sizes a little short, we can fix that too.  But it’s not all about room sizes that get people excited about our custom bed sizes, we recently made a bed for a well-known DJ, like many who live in London space inside his flat was, let’s say limited, especially when you consider the equipment needed for his work.      We were asked to make our Max Storage Bed to a specific height that could accommodate his boxes of vinyl records – we did and he’s delighted.

The best candidates for storage bed space are items that can be neatly folded and contained in boxes. This organisation method provides accessibility comparable to bedroom dresser drawers while maximising available space. Think beyond random storage and instead consider which items truly deserve this valuable space.

Not everything belongs under your mattress. When deciding what to store, ask yourself two critical questions: "How often will I need this?" and "Can this be neatly contained?" Accessibility needs and usage frequency should drive your decisions.

Items requiring daily or weekly access should remain easily reachable, while seasonal items can occupy deeper storage positions. This practical approach prevents frustration when retrieving necessities while maximising your storage potential.

  • Extra Long King, 150cm x 220cm – great for tall people

  • Short King, 150cm x 190cm – perfect for wide, thin rooms

  • Wide Single, 100cm x 190cm – a more generous size for a single person

  • Long Single, 90cm x 200cm – ideal for joining two singles to create a full-size UK Super King

It’s worth noting that with the custom sizes you are also creating custom storage sizes too, a long king, for example, will have 10% more storage too that’s an extra 10 pairs of shoes!
