I ordered a large leather sofa bed after visiting Furl shop in London. The assistant demonstrated different models and provided a quotation. After ordering online, I waited about 6 weeks for my item to be built. It was delivered last month and assembled in my living room. I am very pleased with the appearance and comfort and hope my new sofa serves my family for many years.

We recently nought a Max bed and are very pleased not only with the customer service but also with the bed. It is more expensive than some beds advertised but it is easy to open and close daily and it looks fabulous. David is obviously passionate about his products and patiently answered all our questions during our many visits. The bed was ready before schedule and Paul and Simon put it up very quickly with a smile and overshoes. The only thing is I wish Paul and Simon had warned us how heavy it is once assembled as the bed is blocking the only socket in the room... Also we almost bought their best selling mattress but in the end opted for a memory foam mattress from another leading London shop: I think that the Storage Bed Company could possibly improve their mattress selection? My wife discovered the Storage Bed company through a google search. Since we have purchased furniture from well known stores like John Lewis in the past, I have to confess to being a bit sceptical about a randomly selected company. However, David and his staff were very helpful on the phone and in person when we visited their showroom in North London. The design of the bed frame is perfect. The bed was delivered on time, assembled by David and his partner quickly, and we are very pleased with the result. Would highly recommend both the bed and this company to anyone. PS. I would also note, that on the day of delivery, which was a Saturday, one of their regular delivery people was ill, so David himself came with the van to install the bed rather than being in the London showroom that day. When I mentioned this, he said it was more important to provide good customer service and deliver on the day promised. This is exceptional in today's world, and I would highly commend this company's approach & attitude to customer service. I sincerely hope their company grows and prospers.

Absolutely superb experience with this company, I highly recommend them. We have brought a sofa bed and a storage bed. I went to their London showroom and met the incredibly enthusiastic founder and owner of the company. Both the bed and the sofa bed are wonderful: very high quality, very easy to use, they look fantastic and are very comfortable. We had a significant access issue in our house for the sofa bed but they gave excellent advice on how we could get it in: everyone we dealt with in this team were superb. The extra length of the sofa-bed compared to most other sofa beds on the market means that this is as comfortable as our super-king size bed. It is also very very easy to open out and use and close back again.

Was very apprehensive when my husband said he had found this fantastic bed on the Website. went to London showroom and found our dream bed. So wonderful to have an appointment system so you are under no pressure and can try every bed on offer. Superb advice given. Have bad arthritis so didnt think I would be able to lift bed and latex mattress (which is absolute heaven - not like our other mattress which was memory foam and made me sweat). How wrong I was! The amazing mechanism makes it so easy even for me. The amount of storage is unbelieveable and because of the easy lift mechanism I use it for regularly used stuff as well - just not a problem. the whole buying process was completely painless. The delivery and assembly could not have been better. The two lovely gentleman who delivered and constructed the bed were so polite, quick, efficient and did a fantastic job. I didnt need to be there. The were so careful with carrying the stuff upstairs (with little plastic slippers so as not to mark carpet). Just cant fault the storage bed Co. The bed may be expensive but the quality, service and comfort so worth every penny! Thank you all!

It's not often that I leave reviews for items I've purchased but because I feel so passionate about my Storage Bed and the whole experience of purchasing it, I feel it would be a huge injustice not to do so. David was a blessing when it came to helping us in the showroom, completely accepting of my choice of Orange coloured Storage Bed, showing me all the different shades of the colour and types of material that could be used. He showed us the way the different mechanisms worked and the different styles of Storage Bed, choice of headboard etc.....you could feel he was as passionate about the Beds and the individuality of them as I was, in the way that he informed and then moved away allowing me to make my decision and own design choices. Absolutely marvellous! I must say I had spent a great deal of time looking on the website prior to making an appointment to go to the London showroom and already had a good idea of which bed I would purchase, but seeing the Beds and realising exactly what could be achieved helped enormously. These Storage Beds really do sell themselves. The workmanship and materials used surpass all others by miles. The Customer Service was excellent. I sent 2 emails which were replied to satisfaction in a very short time. Delivery was advised but did not suit my schedule. They happily re-arranged to suit my timetable. Once again, 'Absolutely Marvellous'. Space is a nightmare in my room. The delivery 'Chaps' were lovely and built the Storage Bed within the space in a very short time. They took so much care with everything from the minute they walked through the front door. (Both, another asset to the company!) Nearly 2 months on, the Storage Bed looks fantastic. There is still space underneath it...I wish I had purchased it with the Keypad Safe now....but I was convinced I would use all the space up. My mother would purchase a Storage Bed for every bedroom in the house and for everyone else. She found the website whilst looking for Storage Bed for my room. When moving to my new one bedroom flat I knew that storage space would be a concern. I looked at a number of companies but none of them have the level of service and quality that the Storage Bed Company offers. After spending several hours testing beds & sofa beds at their London showroom, I had a good idea of what I wanted to buy. I especially liked the way it was possible to customize each product with a user friendly website. I bought a Sofa bed and the largest storage bed model available. Both were delivered to my new one bedroom flat on the same day in April and where assembled with care by the company's delivery men. The aftercare was also good. I now have two high end products which fulfill my needs and to date my Sofa bed remains my favourite piece of furniture. I use both of them everyday and I fully expect to be doing so for many years to come.

The bed is well made and as comfortable as I'd hoped. I used: - the online fabric swatch service to help choose a material (arrived very quickly - even with a few extras to consider). Very helpful - the showroom near Ikea in North London. Really helpful to make the right choice of mattress - then ordered using their laptops on site so I could ask questions. They then did an excellent job arranging delivery with the flexibility to meet my needs. The gents who assembled the product were careful and friendly too. Overall an example of the best of British manufacturing and design. I've recommended to others.

As I live in a very small apartment storage is very important. After months of searching and testing numerous storage beds that were far too heavy for me to lift alone. I found the perfect bed at the London based showroom of The Storage Bed Company. I just couldn't believe how easy it was to lift no matter what type of mattress was on top. Even with one hand! My bed arrived in just under 4 weeks. I ordered the Max with a latex mattress. I have had 2 back operations this year and needed a comfortable bed with easily accessible storage underneath. I looked at many storage beds but none had the storage capacity of this bed and no others were easy to lift. A visit to their lovely London showroom is a must - you will be amazed at the variety of fabrics, beds, mattresses, sofa beds, ottomans etc. David and his staff were extremely helpful. You are free to look around and there is no "hard sell". The men who came to install the bed were quick, friendly and efficient. I've had this bed only two days but my sleep has improved enormously. The mattress is fantastic and provides the support I need without being too hard or too soft. I love it so much that I will be ordering another one. Overall Fantastic.

Previously had an ottoman bed that needed replacing and when looking for a storage bed came across Furl. Visited all the usual retailers but none came close to quality and the storage capacity of the Max frame. Visited the London showroom and was very impressed with the range and the laid back feel. The process to order was quick and easy and it's refreshing to know there are still British companies selling quality British made furniture. The delivery team couldn't be more friendly and efficient and spoke highly of the company. The bed has met everything we required and have had many great nights sleep on it since!

When downsizing and moving from a house to a new flat we discovered that our wardrobes and two closets were quickly filled up with items that we needed on a daily basis. We were therefore forced to look for some additional space to store occasionally used bulky things (luggage, coats, winter bedding) and decided on a storage bed solution. Great quality sofa bed that genuinely is big, strong and comfortable enough to be a regular bed. "Strong" it really is - built to take over 200kg, I bought it to be safe to use with a heavily overweight regular house guest and it has been absolutely solid. In terms of service, the company is excellent - friendly, committed personal service from a small company who source their sofa bed frames from a high-level sofa bed frame supplier abroad and then build the sofa beds to order with a wide range of options as to design, fabric and finish. A visit to their showroom in NW London later and an interest-free credit deal clinched it - then followed up with reliable delivery and personal installation before Christmas to be able to receive guests over that holiday period clinched it. Glad I found them!

Simply great. Our Max bed with Alto opening has been one of the best pieces of furniture we have ever bought. The service from talking us through the different options at the showroom in London to delivering and assembling the bed (including coming back to fit a part that had broken even though it didn't stop the bed from working and we couldn't see it) was outstanding. The bed is the perfect solution to our shortage of storage space and the ability to raise the bed makes making it easier. The only thing to watch out for is that the cat jumps straight in to snuggle down when I open it up and I don't always check she has left before putting the top down (no harm done so far).

I spent loads of time on the website which was very useful for comparing all the different bed options. But actually when we went to the showroom in London we ended up changing to a different model, so it's well worth visiting. David and his team were very helpful at the showroom, and we were fascinated by some of the other storage products they sell. We're very pleased with the bed, it looks great and the storage is excellent. The team who put the bed up were quick, tidy and efficient. Overall I'd definitely recommend Furl. They are not the cheapest but you definitely get an excellent product and great customer service.

Furl were highly recommended to me by a friend. I went to their London showroom to place my order, and I'm glad I did - I chose a different bed than I thought I would, and it was far better to choose fabric and colour in person. The delivery experience was also very good. They have limited days for delivery, but once a date was set it went very smoothly. A team of two come to assemble the bed, and they do it remarkably quickly. Make sure you know exactly where you want it - as it is impossible to move afterwards! And the finished product is fantastic. A solid, comfortable bed with amazing storage space - which takes up less floor space than my old wrought iron bed!

In addition to Furl's user-friendly website, there is the choice of seeing the actual furniture in a large unit in London. This is great, as you can try out the sofa before you commit to buying it. The service is excellent and the choice of fabrics is wide. We ended up choosing the sofa bed we liked with our own choice of fabric. The delivery date was spot on, as promised! My guests cannot believe how comfortable the bed is, considering that sofa beds tend to not be comfortable as a bed or a sofa. It is comfortable in both instances. UPDATE: David refunded me £140 at the same time I was leaving this review - I have amended my star rating from 2 to 3 to reflect that the matter was resolved. However, I'd like to point out that I did order on the link i was provided on chat, I had saved it as a bookmark; and even messaged on chat moments before placing the order to check the delivery timescale as 7 days as it was showing as September on the webpage! Just admit there was an internal error, rather than push back on the customer. ----- I loathe to write this review but sadly, the lack of communication has left me with no choice. I contacted Furl in June to discuss their seven day express delivery service as I was in the process of purchasing a property but didn't want to buy the bed prior to exchange of contracts. I was assured that being outside of London (in Brighton) if I could give a little more than seven days notice then I could absolutely receive my order within 24 hours of moving into my property. Once I exchanged contracts I purchased my bed - on July 15th - paid £100 for express seven day delivery and an additional £40 for weekend delivery so that my bed could be delivered the day after I completed on my flat - Saturday 25th July and I'd only have one night sleeping on the floor. Everyone was really chatty online when I hadn't yet placed the order, but as soon as I did... Radio silence. Over the course of the next ten days I rang the number on the website in excess of 20 times, and left several voice mails, each time clearly stating my name and telephone number. I sent several emails and was assured someone would be in touch soon. Moving day arrived and I had not heard a peep from Furl apart from the showroom manager asking me to pay another £125 for removable covers as that is all they had in stock for express delivery; i asked that they did not charge my card this fee until a delivery date was confirmed, as per the service the £140 I had paid for already. I didn't get a reply. On Monday July 27th I finally received an email from David; informing me he had been away and that I must have mistyped my number when I made my order (I was unable to confirm this as it is not stated on my confirmation, so I took it as fact that I had inverted two numbers) and they'd been trying to call me. Funny how nobody thought to email me? Or to check the multiple emails I had sent or listen to the voicemails; each repeatedly stating my phone number! Paul, the fitter then contacted me as initially I had been sent an email with an instal date sometime in mid August and I had replied to this email with horror! Paul agreed to come and set up my bed on Wednesday 29th and he told me that the order hadn't come through to him as an express service - and they'd look into what had gone wrong. I can't fault Paul - he turned up at 8am on the Wednesday and built the bed - the bed itself is great! Can't complain, fantastic storage, lovely quality - really fab. Two days later I received an email from Furl and a notification from my bank that £140 had been charged for the removable covers (yes, that's £15 more than I was told AND bearing in mind I had already paid £140 for a delivery service that I did not receive!) Several emails have gone back and forth with Furl stating that I want £140 (my express and weekend delivery charge) refunded plus £15 for the overcharge on the removable covers - they've admitted they've overcharged me, but haven't done anything about it.. All i got was "I appreciate that we had some communication issues and we did not deliver in 7 days as hopped, sorry about that." from the showroom manager! I sent a final email to David, 5 days ago stating I wanted a refund for the delivery service I did not receive and for the overcharge of the removable covers, and he has not replied. Therefore I am now leaving this review as I am absolutely furious with the outrageously poor customer service. Why two stars and not one? One for the bed, and one for Paul. However, I really wish I had ordered from a mainstream retailer - the king size bed (no headboard or mattress or special fabric covering) plus delivery fee cost me £1670; not a small amount of money at all! @Furl - I have been more than fair, and did say that I would take matters further if we could not resolve this between the two of us. So, if you do not refund the £155 (£100 for seven day express delivery, £40 for Saturday delivery and £15 for overcharging me for the removable covers), within the next 48 working hours, you will leave me with no choice but to contact trading standards and to inform my bank that this is an unauthorised charge and obtain the money back that way. You have my number and my email address, I look forward to hearing from you.

After months of searching for a bed, Furls ottomans are unique and just what my partner and I need. I made a second trip into London to get support with my choices and to also receive the full customer experience. As an NHS nurse, who only now has time to actually think about life outside of work, it was a big deal spending this amount of money. The young lady was thoughtful, however the ‘manager’ was rather cold & insincere, not even getting up from his laptop or showing any interest. I am excited to receive our bed, but unfortunately my customer experience has put me off going back to sort out all the garden furniture, and dining room chairs which we’ll also need to furnish our new house.

Great service at Furl from start to finish. I had multiple fabric samples delivered to my home address as a first step. This was followed up by a visit to the shop in London (recommended before purchase). Good advice for the choice of fabric and piping from the FURL staff during the visit to the shop and beyond via email correspondence. Special thanks to Marcin, the showroom manager, for helping me choose the right fabric and piping to match the decor of my house. Finally, cordial delivery men assembled the sofa in no time, explained the mechanism, provided advice for future disassembly and cleared the packaging.
