Have you ever cleaned under your bed? I think I answer for most of us, when I say it's literally a nightmare. Beds are so heavy, and there's always only a tiny gap that you can barely get a vacuum cleaner nozzle in to. So yes, the answer is yes. But it's a right pain. Don't you agree?

Well, we just fancied letting you know, we've relaunched our ever-popular Simplicity bed to come with castors as standard which means that you can move them nice and easily for cleaning. The remaining models in our range all have very clever ways of cleaning them. In fact, two of them don't need any cleaning at all. Which is LITERALLY the dream isn't it?!

Not many people think about cleaning under and around their bed whilst buying it. But I think it's a really important consideration. So here is a list of the bed options we have, and how to best clean underneath them.

Clearance under the bed for underfloor heating

Another consideration is underfloor heating, ideally, you need a bed on legs to allow airflow under the bed. Because the items inside our storage bed are off the floor inside the bed, it allows good circulation of air under the bed as recommended for underfloor heating.

New and Improved, simplicity with wheels

Our simplicity model has had a makeover, we've increased the storage capacity by over 50% and created a separate area for large luggage. It's essential, for a bed that's designed to be moved that the items inside the bed are off the floor, it would not move otherwise! Ours are on a raised solid base inside the bed, which is also on castors supporting the stored items within.

Simplicity has a unique design that has space for one piece of full-size luggage up to 85 x 60 and 36 cm deep, the remaining storage area is 26cm and off the ground. When you want to move the bed, remove the luggage ( because it's touching the floor) and wheel the bed around your room for cleaning or changes of position.

Castors lock when you don't need to move the bed and are hidden by decorative wooden feet in a choice of Oak, Walnut and Black. The Simplicity bed, was first launched in 2007 and has been a huge success, and with this new and improved model, we think it will continue to be so.
