I have my Max Storage bed for over a year now and I absolutely love it. The mattress is super comfortable made with natural fabrics which was important for me. I honestly feel refreshed and energised in the morning, rather than in a state of constant aches and pains. The storage is huge and it was absolutely necessary in our studio flat. King size was a great choice for us, a couple with a dog who always sleeps with us ? MJ was super helpful in terms of getting everything we need and helping with all decisions. Absolutely recommend Furl.

We are going to buy another one. The double bed with oak base and extra height well worth the extra money. Our 22 & 21 year old daughters had just run out of storage space. One daughter is now completely clutter free, has somewhere accessible for her many pairs of shoes and still has room to spare. No hesitation now in ordering an identical bed for other daughters room. Only wish I'd found the storage bed company when we brought our king size bed as I can't bare to see all the clutter under our bed now.

These beds are absolutely superb, ruggedly built and rock solid with no flexing, squeaking or creaking. It was a great investment that will last for decades (I'd recommend the removable covering option that enables the upholstery to be removed and inexpensively replaced in case of redecorating, moving home or cosmetic damage).
More expensive than other storage beds on the market that you find in the large retail parks, but the level of quality and additional storage space makes the Storage Bed company's beds vastly better value for money.
My bed is a king size simplicity max, I've had it 3 months now and I can't recommend it highly enough! I wouldn't buy another bed from anywhere else.

The very best storage bed on the market - and we looked every where! Great choice, very very well made and an excellent price. We weren't sure about the mattresses as they seemed so cheap - but we are very happy (now one year on) with the top of the range pocket sprung King size mattress we bought - cost £500. It's well made and very comfy (threw away the Sonos £1600 mattress we hated!)
You will not be disappointed. David is excellent and happy to open the sales showroom on a Saturday.

When downsizing and moving from a house to a new flat we discovered that our wardrobes and two closets were quickly filled up with items that we needed on a daily basis. We were therefore forced to look for some additional space to store occasionally used bulky things (luggage, coats, winter bedding) and decided on a storage bed solution. After an extensive internet search we discovered FURL and their Max bed and this met our requirements perfectly. The bed extends beyond the king size mattress by only few centimetres while providing really cavernous storage space - it miraculously fitted within our rather small bedroom. Owner's enthusiasm for his own designs, robust construction and obvious attention to detail also reassured us of its longevity. Finally, with FURL's easy-fit fabric customisation, we used a high quality fabric to match the rest of our luxury furniture. Having used the bed for almost a year now, we remain extremely pleased with the result.

We have been very pleased with our bed. It is very stylish and of good quality. We purchased the Max in the king size as we wanted the biggest storage underneath and it has made a huge difference to space in the bedroom and ease of which to find an item in the storage area. Previously we had to crawl under the bed to pull boxes out and go through opening them all up to find something. These beds are expensive but it will last a long time and not fall to bits like cheaper versions.

I bought a king size 'illusion' bed from Furl and (a) think it's a stunning piece of furniture first and foremost. Unlike most storage beds, it doesn't appear chunky and overpowering in the room, this is due to it having proper feet and being sleek in its design. (b) It holds a tonne of stuff which is ideal as we live in a small apartment. Everything from meeting the owner and inventor of Furl's products at the showroom, to delivery, to just how darn good it looks at home is five stars. I'm recommending Furl to my friends, and I will be back to buy the Retro sofa bed very soon.

Have purchased 2 king size beds from Furl - an Air and Simplicity. Thrilled with the beds - there are of superb quality, fully functional and lovely beds! Excellent customer service from Furl throughout. When our building works overran and we needed to amend the delivery dates for the beds, Furl were flexible and accommodating on multiple occasions. The delivery guys who assembled the beds were professional, speedy and punctual (they were actually early!). Would thoroughly recommend Furl and have already do so to friends!

Can not praise this company enough! Approximately 9 years ago (I think they were probably just starting out) I went to their workshop near Nottingham. I was shown how the beds were made, all of the options a available and given fabric samples to take home. We ordered a king size Ottoman bed. At the time I was impressed with the service from ordering to delivery. Fast forward 9 years, we still have the bed, it’s still amazing but we do have one broken bed slat. Today I contacted them and they are popping one in the post for me. Outstanding customer service! Thank you ?

We wanted a sofa that looked stylish (and didn't look like a sofa bed!) but we didn't want to compromise on the comfort of the bed and it needed to fit in a relatively small room. I was beginning to think this was an impossible task - and then we discovered Furl! Our Milano sofabed looks good and provides our guests with a great nights sleep on a comfortable king size mattress. An excellent quality product and customer service to match.

UPDATE: David refunded me £140 at the same time I was leaving this review - I have amended my star rating from 2 to 3 to reflect that the matter was resolved. However, I'd like to point out that I did order on the link i was provided on chat, I had saved it as a bookmark; and even messaged on chat moments before placing the order to check the delivery timescale as 7 days as it was showing as September on the webpage! Just admit there was an internal error, rather than push back on the customer.

I loathe to write this review but sadly, the lack of communication has left me with no choice.
I contacted Furl in June to discuss their seven day express delivery service as I was in the process of purchasing a property but didn't want to buy the bed prior to exchange of contracts. I was assured that being outside of London (in Brighton) if I could give a little more than seven days notice then I could absolutely receive my order within 24 hours of moving into my property.
Once I exchanged contracts I purchased my bed - on July 15th - paid £100 for express seven day delivery and an additional £40 for weekend delivery so that my bed could be delivered the day after I completed on my flat - Saturday 25th July and I'd only have one night sleeping on the floor. Everyone was really chatty online when I hadn't yet placed the order, but as soon as I did...
Radio silence.
Over the course of the next ten days I rang the number on the website in excess of 20 times, and left several voice mails, each time clearly stating my name and telephone number. I sent several emails and was assured someone would be in touch soon. Moving day arrived and I had not heard a peep from Furl apart from the showroom manager asking me to pay another £125 for removable covers as that is all they had in stock for express delivery; i asked that they did not charge my card this fee until a delivery date was confirmed, as per the service the £140 I had paid for already. I didn't get a reply.
On Monday July 27th I finally received an email from David; informing me he had been away and that I must have mistyped my number when I made my order (I was unable to confirm this as it is not stated on my confirmation, so I took it as fact that I had inverted two numbers) and they'd been trying to call me. Funny how nobody thought to email me? Or to check the multiple emails I had sent or listen to the voicemails; each repeatedly stating my phone number!
Paul, the fitter then contacted me as initially I had been sent an email with an instal date sometime in mid August and I had replied to this email with horror!
Paul agreed to come and set up my bed on Wednesday 29th and he told me that the order hadn't come through to him as an express service - and they'd look into what had gone wrong.
I can't fault Paul - he turned up at 8am on the Wednesday and built the bed - the bed itself is great! Can't complain, fantastic storage, lovely quality - really fab.
Two days later I received an email from Furl and a notification from my bank that £140 had been charged for the removable covers (yes, that's £15 more than I was told AND bearing in mind I had already paid £140 for a delivery service that I did not receive!)
Several emails have gone back and forth with Furl stating that I want £140 (my express and weekend delivery charge) refunded plus £15 for the overcharge on the removable covers - they've admitted they've overcharged me, but haven't done anything about it.. All i got was "I appreciate that we had some communication issues and we did not deliver in 7 days as hopped, sorry about that." from the showroom manager!
I sent a final email to David, 5 days ago stating I wanted a refund for the delivery service I did not receive and for the overcharge of the removable covers, and he has not replied. Therefore I am now leaving this review as I am absolutely furious with the outrageously poor customer service.
Why two stars and not one? One for the bed, and one for Paul.
However, I really wish I had ordered from a mainstream retailer - the king size bed (no headboard or mattress or special fabric covering) plus delivery fee cost me £1670; not a small amount of money at all!
@Furl - I have been more than fair, and did say that I would take matters further if we could not resolve this between the two of us. So, if you do not refund the £155 (£100 for seven day express delivery, £40 for Saturday delivery and £15 for overcharging me for the removable covers), within the next 48 working hours, you will leave me with no choice but to contact trading standards and to inform my bank that this is an unauthorised charge and obtain the money back that way. You have my number and my email address, I look forward to hearing from you.

Great service. Delivery was swift and assembly was efficient. They took care in ensuring no damage was caused to the house despite having to get a super king size mattress up two floors. Everything was left neat and tidy and concluded with a demo of the bed. I couldn’t be more pleased.
