I wish I could give 10 stars! I CANNOT explain how phenomenal the Furl team have been throughout this whole process. I knew exactly how I wanted my bed to look but couldn’t find anything quite right in the UK (I looked EVERYWHERE). Furl said they could custom make me something so they altered the standard dimensions of one of their headboards to suit what I was after. I was a bit nervous ordering something without seeing a photo of it - but it is absolutely perfect! It looks better than I imagined and the hidden storage is a dream (this is my second bed from Furl). Also, they were so patient with me during the delivery process. I must have delayed delivery about 10 times because decoration of the room was taking so long, and they were very accommodating. On the day the delivery/assembly team were super nice, professional and fast. Very very happy. Thank you so much!

Amazing product. I spent many hours researching quality sofa beds, and it was worth it. The pocket sprung mattress is reasonably firm and very comfortable. The mechanism is easy to use, and the footprint of the bed it much smaller than most other sofa beds, despite the bed being bigger. The best feature for me is that there are no cushions to find a home for when using as a bed - they all stay attached and simple for underneath the bed. Mattress protector and sheet can be left on the bed when it is folded away, but duvet and pillows must be removed. We have a medium metro, which is larger than a standard double, however because the mattress is slightly less deep, standard double fitted sheets fit well. Delivery and installation was carried out by Furl. It too about 20mins. They gave me a good demonstration, tips on operation and moving the sofa, and took all the rubbish away when they were done. Expensive, but well worth the extra.

I would like to mention the high standard of service received from start to finish was super. Today Fabio and Lubo delivered and assembled the bed with care. They were tidy, quick, clean and very professional. Both were very friendly and knew exactly what to do, they worked very well as a team also. The bed looks superb and is constructed to a very high standard.

This has to be the single, most useful purchase I've ever made. I bought the model with the maximum storage and I must say I could fit an entire flat in it. The base itself is made to the highest standard, it's strong, well designed and I can keep it clean very easily. I couldn't recommend this product and the company who sells it more. I can only repeat myself, best purchase ever, especially for small flat owners. I would also recommend to have it assembled by their people, they came and within 15mins the bed was put together. They left no mess, were extremely punctual and polite.

Excellent bed and service. The bed base is very well built yet amazingly simple to put together (or so it seemed when watching the delivery men installing it). The only negative was that they refused to remove my old bed base as it was too old and/or of insufficient quality to be accepted by the charity they work with. The required standard of bed base that would have been accepted seemed unrealistically high for a used bed. This was especially jarring as the standard of service and options was so high in every other respect from the showroom to the installation and everything else in between. Very happy with the bed and the storage room it provides.

These beds are very good quality, you get what you pay for. I bought one, and quickly bought another as I was so pleased with it. It seems pointless to have a standard bed once you've had one of these. The add-on safe option is very handy.

We took delivery of our Sofa bed on Friday 15th January 2016 and the whole process from visiting the showroom to delivery has been amazing. David answered all our questions, provided great advice as this was an expensive purchase for us. David put our minds at ease and we felt confident we had found the right company/product as were going to be using the sofabed everyday. So the bed arrived on Friday and it beat are expectations, the delivery/installation was seamless. We went for the top of the range memory foam, which was firm at first but after our 3rd night its starting to break in (I didn't want to get out of it this morning). The build is excellent and we now know the saying "you get what you paid for". This sofa bed will last us for years. I can't recommend this company enough, if you need a sofa bed PLEASE don't go to your normal high street shops if you require an "everyday" sofabed, as we went to them all and not one is on pair to the high build quality/standard/service.

We bought a Milano which at the time seemed quite expensve compared to similar sofa beds. However,the quality of finish,comfort and service more than compensate for the added cost. The 1890 width seems larger than a standard double and the mattress is really as comfortable as a bespoke bed. Small design quibbles are that the bed feet will damage a carpet unless you put cup casters underneath them and the initial pull to activate the bed is seriously hard if you are of short stature. Finally would it be possible to supply some covered foam inserts to fit down the side of the bed when activated? This would cover the metal frame and increase the bed width by 20cms. I have purchased two simplicity beds from furl. One for my daughter one for myself . Service was very good and the men who came to install the beds were also very good and careful. My only slight disappointment was with my headboard, I chose the standard headboard, my daughter the horizon which was much thicker than the standard if I had realised the headboard styles were different thicknesses I would have chosen differently as I prefer the look of a thicker headboard. Saying that I would fully recommend these beds the amount of storage is fantastic and so is the quality and look.

We've had our Furl Sofa-bed for a couple weeks now and its fulfilling their high-standard promises in an exemplary fashion. We couldn't ask for or get more from the product or service. From the super efficient delivery (20 mins I think in total from door-knock an hour earlier than their quoted slot to done and left) including unwrapping and assembly, explaining care of the leather and use of the extra features we chose (twice, with nothing but professional courtesy, to ensure my wife understood), all with great care for our flat and no problem bringing it up the stairs with the full delivery option to all our showroom visit experiences (which is quite spacious and very clean). David and others at Furl are very friendly, helpful, and honest, and gave us plenty of time over multiple visits (he waited for us to be done at closing time once), no pressure. If there is one tiny wish, the website isn't always super intuitive eg. materials selection especially on our 10" tablet, and selecting custom colours from their wider range you need to have the right fabric "custom" option chosen for the price quote to be accurate I believe (as of 2016). We love that its a British company and made here, we love the colour we chose (having had several swatches sent us and compared at home in different lighting situations), and the leather is fabulous plus we know if there's any problems under warranty they will remake any piece/the whole thing in the same colour for many years yet and match it up. The 5 year warranty on /everything/ (not just the frame like many lesser companies) is indicative of a quality brand putting its money where its mouth is. We love the extra features we chose (at reasonable prices) you just can't get anywhere else - the storage arms, the moving system (wheels on hidden levers - makes shifting it/lifting the legs for cleaning a breeze), having a taller back cushion for my back support (I'm 6'). Its also about the longest mattress we found (very tall friends/relatives will be sleeping on it occasionally!) and the reflex foam is so much more comfortable compared to almost[*] every other sofa bed we tried out in shops, you can't feel the metal bars or straps underneath and its frame doesn't get in the way when you're swinging limbs over the side, nor does the sofa back/arms (so much). The leather has just settled down from its slightly chemical-smelling brand-newness and dissipated/"out-gassed" (aka "off-gassed" as this is called - is the same on other leathers) its initial new-ness, its starting to smell more like plain older leather. All the pieces arrived clear-plastic coated so hadn't yet had a chance to do that since manufacture. [*] just a couple other brands in the same ball-park price for the basic sofa could compete on mattress comfort and length, but its mainly a sofa for us and occasional visitor bed and the difference wasn't material enough (ho ho!) to lose out on all the other fantastic Furl features/service. Heartily recommend Furl sofa beds if within your budget (or you can stretch to it after trying out others that fall short), especially if you like the extra options available like we have.

Very satisfied with the bed which we have now had for 6 months. The communication about delivery arrangements was very good and we had a call from the installation team shortly before arrival. In our case this was particularly helpful as we were the 1st call on their run very early in the morning. The installation team was very courteous and professional. They used over shoes and were very careful not to cause any damage in the house. Also they were very informative about the workings of the bed and the caution that would need to be exercised should one ever wish to dismantle & move the bed should this be required, They indicated that Furl also provides a service regarding this should it be thought necessary/helpful. They were dressed smartly and not at all scruffy as is often the case with delivery teams. We had made our own purchase independently of a Dunlopillo mattress. This was because we have had this type of mattress twice before and it is our preferred option. The mattress had been delivered in advance of the bed base delivery and was stored in the second bedroom. The installation team volunteered, without any prompting by us, to place the mattress on the base unwrapping it etc. This was very helpful as such a Kingsize mattress is very heavy and awkward to manoeuvre. My only slight criticism is that I feel Furl should be more informative on their website regarding the fact that due to the way the bed is constructed, standard headboards do not match the fittings provided in the ottoman base and that unless one wishes to make an after market modification to any such standard headboard, then it is necessary if a headboard is required, to purchase one of the Furl bespoke versions. We may seek to do this in the future. The website could also perhaps be altered to make it easier to navigate when selecting options. For example it is necessary to select each headboard separately in turn to establish how it looks and it is not (as far as I am aware) possible to see all the headboards together on a page for the purpose of making comparisons.

It has taken a couple of months to get round to writing this review, but the Furl "Play" is the most comfortable sofa bed we have ever slept on. It's easy to open, close and move around and is comfortable to sit on. The small double is big enough for 2 but the standard double would give more room. However, as we have limited space we didn't have room for a standard double. The website measurements are exact - we have less than an inch to spare on length and the bed fits perfectly when opened out. The men who came to fit it were very efficient and helpful.

I found the showroom experience to be a real WOW facture and was amazed how much they have thought about storage and practicality. It's worth just visiting to be amazed by their clever solutions. Yes, the items are more expensive than you could get from your standard high street furniture shop but the quality and features you get with Furl furniture I found to be far superior to anything I've seen elsewhere. We opted to spend extra and go with the Metro from Furl as we wanted the most comfortable (sofa)bed possible and we needed a modular option to get it through narrow doorways and up stairs. The quality of the cushions, fabric (we went for velvet) and bed is excellent. The delivery team were superb - COVID aware, polite and respectful carrying the sofa bed through the house. We went for standard delivery so assembly was not included. It would have been useful to have an instruction guide to assist with self assembly - the delivery team’s instructions were useful but not easy to remember. It was a fiddly job attaching the necessary screws and two people are definitely needed. It is a logical assembly process, however, and not difficult if you’re practically minded! That said, it requires a decent amount of strength to lift and click the modular pieces together. Although at the time I found the assembly frustrating (mainly due to screws being hard to reach and holes hard to see due to black material covering them) in hindsight it only took 30 mins. The sofa and the bed are more comfortable than we expected so if we need more modular furniture, we would certainly consider Furl again.

Very pleased from start to finish with purchase and delivery of the AirB Sofa bed. Visited nice showroom in Swiss Cottage where we were able to see a range of beds. Marcin was knowledgeable and helpful in showing us around. We were able to place the order and customise the material sourced from an external provider. Quality of end product, delivery and installation of a high standard. Any queries we had re product and delivery resulted in a quick and timely response. Only hiccup was with the website where it would not accept our order resulting in an obtuse error code, however David was able to sort this out.

We went to their shop first to get an idea of the sofa beds work and look like. The order itself was placed online with help of Marcin on the phone. Since we chose a different fabric than what was standard we had a few hurdles to overcome, but Marcin was brilliant and my sofa just arrived and looked as fabulous and perfectly functional as imagined.
