We have had our Simplicity Max Super Kingsize storage bed for several months now. We made a visit to the showroom before purchasing to see the quality of the construction in person before buying and we weren't disappointed. We spent a considerable time trying out the different mattress options and chose the Latex 750 which gives a wonderful nights sleep - like resting on very supportive clouds. We had to rearrange delivery a couple of times due to decorators not finishing on time but the team were very accommodating. Delivery was prompt on the chosen date and fitting was carried out efficiently and cleanly. We chose the deeply headboard to be wall mounted. Please note that the fitters will not fix your headboard to the wall and this really was the only tricky part of the assembly. We needed to fix to a lathe and plaster wall and the fixings provided were not sufficient to take the weight. In retrospect we should have had the headboard fitted to the bed itself although this meant it wouldn't have been flush against the wall. Also with regard to the headboard, I had chosen the largest size 91 cm but it actually measured a few cm less. I queried this but was told that the size was an average and differed to ensure symmetry of the diamonds between the buttons. In the end it didn't really make too much difference. The storage is fantastic , although it is in danger of becoming a dumping ground for everything since we emptied our loft. However I do find it a bit heavy to lift with the super Kingsize latex mattress in place. I wonder how I will manage as I get older as it takes all my strength with two hands to lift if my husband isn't on hand. Overall though it is a beautiful, comfortable and very useful bed which I would recommend to anyone. David made the whole experience feel personalised and he was extremely helpful at every stage. Excellent.

My fiancé and I had been researching beds for some time before we stumbled across 'The Storage Bed Company' online a few years ago, which has since been renamed to Furl. We visited the showroom in Neasden and were very impressed - the owner was present on the day and was extremely knowledgeable about his products. The amount of storage in all of the beds, but specifically the Max, was significant and just what we required (for my ridiculously-sized shoe collection!). We had to wait a bit before we decided to order but when we returned to the showroom a couple of years later, the owner was there again and just as enthusiastic about his products, which is fantastic to see. We purchased a king-size Max storage bed with end-opening mechanism, 'Deeply' headboard, oak feet, electronic security box and dust cover in 'Linen' fabric. On the day of delivery, 2 men assembled the bed within 30 minutes and were very professional and courteous, and did not leave any mess or packaging behind. The build of the bed is excellent, and it is very sturdy. I am extremely pleased I bought the electronic safe as well, it's been so useful. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the bed and would not hesitate to recommend purchasing from Furl. I would suggest a visit to their showroom if you are able, just to meet with the owner and see the vast array of fabrics on offer.
